A considered approach
Every gathering starts with the feeling you want to create.
Food is how we gather, share, and show love. Every dish is crafted from scratch with fresh ingredients, a whole lot of care, and zero shortcuts. I want you to enjoy the people around your table as much as the food on it.

Meet Debbie
The heart behind The Shared Spatula.
For me, cooking has always been a way to care for people. The Shared Spatula grew from that love: comforting food made from scratch, generous tables, and the joy of watching people settle in for another helping. Whether I’m cooking for your household or a room full of guests, I put my heart into every meal.

“Twice a week, we have a chef come in and make the team a morning snack and lunch. We give her full creative control over the menu, and she caters to everyone's preferences and dietary needs. Debbie Elsen is an angel and a fantastic chef.”
“Debbie definitely has a talent with her hands. Her food is delicious, you won't be disappointed. I've tried multiple dishes from her.”
“My love for food has always been inspired by my moms cooking. She continues to educate me, even in my adult life, on culinary skills & recipes. It truly is a lost trade she could teach & share with everyone.”
